Warm up half a cup of water in your microwave. Mix together some instant oatmeal, some honey, a tablespoon of cinnamon, and toddlers’ milk in a bowl. Add the water to the bowl of ingredients and mix together thoroughly until you have a paste. Test the temperature to make sure it’s not too hot, then apply the paste to your face. Apply evenly, avoiding your eyes. Leave the mask in place for 30 to 60 minutes. Use water and papaya soap, usually found in the organic section of the grocery store, to wash it off. If you don’t want to use papaya soap you can use whatever soap you have on hand. Grind up some oatmeal in your blender or food processor. In a different container, stir together a couple tablespoons of honey with a quarter cup of plain yogurt of buttermilk. Insert this “wet” mixture with your “dry” mixture and combine until you have put together a paste. Daub the mixture all over your face with your fingers. Be watchful to stay away from your eyes and the area around them because this skin is quite sensitive, which includes raw ingredients. Leave the paste on your face for fifteen minutes or so, until it starts to dry out. Put clean and warm water to use for washing the paste off your face. If you have any extra, put it aside in the fridge for tomorrow (although, don’t put it in there for more than a day). This mixture is mild enough that you can use it every day if you would like to.
Lemon juice, oatmeal and tomatoes can make a fantastic scrub facial for your skin. Blend all of the ingredients together in your blender until you have a paste that is coarse in texture. After washing and rinsing as usual pat skin dry.
You should apply this mixture after thoroughly rinsing cleanser, to your face and neck. This should sit for ten minutes and then be rinsed off with warm water.
